Clonburris Parent’s Association Path Clean-up Project

We are looking for volunteers from our school community to help with clearing the pathway between Dunawley and Michael Collins on the morning of Friday 5th November.
This pathway has become overgrown with weeds/bramble etc. We would love to clear this pathway to make it cleaner and safer to use so our students can safely travel to and from school be it by foot, scooter or bike. As this is a public path, SDCC has provided us with bags and litter pickers that they will collect once we are done. We will also need tools: shovels, brushes, hand cutters, trimmers (preferably battery operated or manual) We would love to see parents/carers/grandparents get involved. It's a great opportunity to meet and get to know other members of our school community. We hope to have a minimum of 10 volunteers in order for our little project to go ahead. We have lots of activities during the school year and really need the help of parents/grandparents so we can provide adequate supervision for your children. Please inform your child's teacher if you can help with school tours, sporting events, the book fair etc.
Altar Serving |

New altar servers welcome for Clonburris church. Boys and girls receive training on Fridays and serve at weekend mass no more than once a month. Altar servers are also an important part of the school's First Communion and Confirmation ceremonies. If your child is interested in joining the altar serving group please leave your contact details with the school.
