They may bring some sweets or chocolate with them (no nuts [allergies], crisps, popcorn or chewing gum or fizzy drinks). Please don't send in bags of sweets for sharing. Many of our pupils have serious allergies and pupils may be performing with a different class.
Quiet games are allowed but nothing electronic. Phones, iPods, iPads etc. are not allowed.
Please remind children to respect the teachers and parents who have volunteered to supervise classes.

Clonburris N.S. held its first Christmas Concert in 1978, the start of a long and much loved tradition in our school.
In 1980 Damien McCormick wrote and produced the play "Red Riding Hood". This was the first concert which involved all of the children in the school.
The Christmas Concert usually takes place in early December and runs over three nights. Each child in Clonburris has the opportunity to perform on stage with lights, sound effects, music and a large supportive audience. Our sixth class children take on the roles of the
lead characters and Junior Infants - 5th Class perform in class scenes.
Our teachers, SNAs, secretary and caretaker give generously of their time each year. The help of our parents is invaluable on concert nights as they supervise the children waiting to go on stage!
