WINTER SONG
bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum
bum bum bum bum bum bum
bum bum bum bum bum bum (twice)
This is my winter song to you.
The storm is coming soon,
it rolls in from the sea
My voice; a beacon in the night.
My words will be your light,
to carry you to me.
Is love alive?
Is love alive?
Is love
They say that things just cannot grow
beneath the winter snow,
or so I have been told.
They say that we were buried far,
just like a distant star
I simply cannot hold.
Is love alive?
Is love alive?
Is love alive?
This is my winter song.
December never felt so wrong,
cause you’re not where you belong;
inside my arms. Bum bum bum........

Maths
Maths can be quite tricky to understand! As the year goes on we will cover many different topics in maths. If your child is finding a particular topic tricky or just needs more practice, a fun way to learn is through games. There are so many great free maths games online that can help with maths skills. I will pin links of websites or particular games that I find useful for learning.
Youtube also has many fun videos that help explain maths concepts! Use these at home to help your child with understanding their maths! If your child is having significant trouble with maths please let me know so we can work together to help them get to grips with it! I have attached a checklist for each topic which lists all the maths skills that a child should know by the end of fourth class. |
NUMBERROCK is a brilliant Youtube channel that creates educational maths videos and songs that help children to understand Maths concepts. We use them in the classroom and they are great for revision!
