Let's Play Ireland - government initiative with lots of play ideas and resources
15th June - 30th June
Hi boys and girls, well done to everyone for all the work you have been doing at home since March, it can’t have been easy but you should be very proud on what you have achieved during this very difficult time for us all. For the last two weeks of school we are going to get you to have some fun and focus on the learning at home page with some virtual school tours, reading bingo etc. There is plenty of work below for revision and if you would like to continue with that you can but we are aware that you have all worked really hard online over the last three months so we are going to gradually wind down into the summer holidays. It’s unfortunate we didn’t get to spend more time in school especially during this last term when lots of fun things take place but hopefully we can make up for that when we return to school  at the end of August.   I want to wish you all a very happy and safe Summer Holidays and hopefully we will be able to return to school as normal as possible on August 27th. Enjoy your summer holidays, get out and exercise/play as much as you can and be as helpful as possible at home. And above all be kind.
Take care
Mr Murray
May 25th -29th

You have been doing great work so far, well done.  If you haven't collected your books yet, make sure you come to collect them this week as we must get all the classrooms cleaned and tidied before the end of June. You can email handp1@eircom.net and Trish will give you a day to come and we will have them ready for you. Best of luck with your work this week. Keep up the good work.

April 2020:

Hi boys and girls, Welcome Back. Hope you all had a lovely Easter Break and got to eat lots of Easter eggs.

I hope you have all been keeping well and keeping yourselves active. I would love to hear what you have been getting up to. A lot of my days are spent running around after two little boys but I also like to do some exercise – which might be running, or jumping on our trampoline or playing football in the garden or going for walks. I have even done a little baking!

I have posted some additional work for you to do this week and I would like you to do your best with it. Please do not worry if you don't complete it all or if you are stuck on any parts. I have set us up a group email mrmurrayclonburris@gmail.com so we can communicate with one another over the next few weeks. I would love you to send me samples of your work, anything you would like me to correct or even a little message to let me know how you are getting on.

I’m sure like me you would all love to be back in school again with your friends but for now we just need to look after ourselves and our families, but make sure to keep in contact with your friends online or by phone.

Looking forward to hearing how you are all doing.
